A recent Marina located 25 km from the French border and 45 from Girona, it is a town apart in the landscape of the Costa Brava. Built in 1967 two kilometres from Castelló d'Empúries, Empuriabrava developed around more than forty kilometres of canals strewn with villas and private moorings.

The port
